the purpose of this blog

so one of the reasons I started this blog was to write long-form "serious" posts about things. I have 7 unfinished drafts going back to the start of 2024, and one published post from 1.5 years ago. I don't think that this is going to ever be a "serious" blog in the way that I envision. when I use tumblr I just kinda post whatever garbage is on my mind. I want this to be kind of like that, lots of more short-form posts but with good code formatting. anyway that's what this is now. informal, my normal typing style, etc.
